What is Vavato's role?
Vavato is an online auction platform.
We organize auctions on behalf of a third party and bring buyers and sellers together.
Vavato is not the seller of the lots.
Who is the seller of a lot?
The lots are offered by a third party (the seller).
This can be, for example, a company, a court-appointed administrator, a trustee, or a private individual.
With whom do you enter into an agreement?
If you place a bid and win a lot, you enter into an agreement with the seller (third party). Vavato is not a party to this agreement. As a buyer, you only have an agreement with Vavato for the use of the auction platform and the associated fee via the buyer's premium.
By bidding, you agree to Vavato's general terms and conditions:

Who is responsible for the lot?
The seller (third party) is responsible for the description, condition, and delivery of the lot. Vavato only facilitates the auction.
