What is an auto bid?

An auto bid ensures that your bid is automatically increased with the minimum bid step. The system will automatically bid over another bidder until your set maximum amount of the automatic bid has been reached.

This way you don't have to make a new bid manually each time, but you can easily set your maximum amount as a proxy bid. This is useful if, for example, you cannot follow the bidding process of an auction yourself. Setting a proxy bid is free.

Please note: that an auto-bid is not a reserved bid! If someone else bids the maximum price first, the bid is for that person. You can still submit a higher bid manually.

Also when setting up an auto bid, Vavato shows the price of the maximum amount including auction costs and VAT.
