What do I have to know before I come to pick up my goods?

You will come and pick up the goods yourself? Then you find the information of the pickup location, date & timing in the description of the lot.

We’ll send you this information via email as soon as you have won a lot & you’ll receive a small reminder 2 days before the pickup date.

!Attention: please note that only on the communicated date & time there is a Vavato employee present to hand over the goods.

You are not available to come and pick the goods up yourself? No problem! You can contract a transporter to collect the items.

We try our best to make the pickup moment run as smoothly as possible. Therefore we ask you to keep the following documents at hand:

Not all goods that are sold in our online auctions are packaged.

Please keep in mind that if you want to transport your goods safely, we advise you to bring the necessary packaging materials (blankets, cardboard, etc).

Did you win a lot from an auction due to bankruptcy? In this case you are responsible for the disassembly, packaging and transport of the purchased lot(s).

Our Vavato employees are not entitled to load the goods for you. You must therefore ensure that you foresee enough people and/or means to load the goods yourself in your transport vehicle.

!Attention: Our forklifts are not made available for loading the goods in an external vehicle (not a Vavato vehicle). Forklifts do not leave our warehouse.
